Shri Vallabhacharya composed the Yamunashtak on (the 11th day of the bright half of the Shravan month). He wrote it to express his gratitude to Shri Yamunaji, whose grace is believed to remove all obstacles between the soul and the Lord. For centuries, this composition has remained a cornerstone of daily worship in Vaishnav households across Gujarat. The Nine Verses (Ashtak)
