In the aftermath of Carmine Falcone's death and the flooding of Gotham (events following The Batman 2022), Oz Cobb (The Penguin) sees a power vacuum. He attempts to climb the criminal ladder by approaching Alberto Falcone, Carmine's entitled son, with a bold plan. When things go violently wrong, Oz must outwit Sofia Falcone (Carmine's daughter), who has just been released from Arkham and is reasserting control over the family.

Colin Farrell is unrecognizable and mesmerizing. He doesn't just play Oswald Cobb; he inhabits him. The episode does a masterful job of stripping away the comic-book gimmicks to present a character study of a man who is desperate, ambitious, and incredibly dangerous. We see Oz navigating the politics of the Falcone family, specifically dealing with a volatile Sofia Falcone, while plotting his own ascent from the gutters to the throne.
