VADETS will mail you a Certificate of Completion (DEC-1 card). Do not lose this; it is a legal document.

The program consists of 30 hours of instruction covering road signs, traffic laws, and safe driving practices.

You generally need a score of 80% or higher on quizzes and the final exam. If you fail the final exam, you will have to wait a specific period (often 24 hours) before retaking it.
