Crocdb [extra Quality] Official

To guarantee durability, every write command is first appended to an append-only file on disk—the WAL. The WAL records each operation sequentially (e.g., *SET, key, value ). This ensures that even if the process crashes, the entire command history can be replayed to rebuild the in-memory state. The sequential, append-only nature eliminates random disk seeks, providing excellent write throughput.
