If the Snipping Tool doesn’t show up in your search:

Click Start > All Apps and scroll down to the "S" section. It is listed simply as "Snipping Tool."

I have a simple need: I see something on my screen, I want to cut it out, and I want to paste it somewhere else. It is the most basic function of modern computing. Yet, somehow, finding the "Snipping Tool" on a fresh Windows install has become a bi-annual ritual of confusion.
