Plugin Camera Raw Access

Think of a raw file like a digital negative. Unlike a JPEG, which is "baked" in the camera, a raw file contains all the data your camera sensor captured. The Camera Raw plugin is the darkroom where you develop that negative.

At its simplest, is a plugin built into Adobe Photoshop and Bridge. It allows you to process and edit raw image files (like .CR3, .NEF, .ARW) before you even open them in Photoshop proper. plugin camera raw

Nothing you do in ACR is permanent until you export the file. You can push the exposure, change the white balance, or tweak colors, and you can always go back to the original file without losing any quality. Think of a raw file like a digital negative
