Neeti represents the younger generation of police officers—idealistic but disillusioned. Her storyline navigates the gendered politics of the force and the struggle to balance personal life with a gruesome profession.

While Vartika steers the ship, the show’s emotional texture comes from her team. Rasika Dugal as Neeti Singh and Rajesh Tailang as Bhupendra Singh are given more fleshed-out arcs this time around.

Vartika is exhausted. You see it in her eyes, in the way she drinks cold coffee during stakeouts. She’s fighting crime, yes, but also fighting a police force underfunded, overworked, and quietly broken. Shah delivers a masterclass in internalized performance.

Bhupendra, the loyal second-in-command, is arguably the moral center of the season. His gentle demeanor hides a sharp mind, and his interactions with Vartika provide some of the season's most touching moments of camaraderie.
