Just finished watching this week's episode, and it feels like the show is really starting to pivot toward the end of the era we've gotten used to.
The biggest talking point has to be the ending. George Sr. finally snapping and telling Georgie he’s "out" was a long time coming, but it’s heartbreaking to see it happen right when Georgie was actually trying to step up. The tension with the tire shop and Mandy’s pregnancy has been building all season, and "A Sty for the Ages" really delivered on that emotional payoff. Seeing George so defeated, despite his usual stoicism, was some of Lance Barber’s best work.
