The jungle terrain gave way to a fortified compound. Searchlights swept the ground, carving paths through the darkness. Rico waited for the beam to pass, then sprinted. Bullets chewed up the dirt at his heels. He slid under a barbed-wire fence, the adrenaline drowning out the scrape of metal on his jacket.

The tank’s armor sparked and dented. The pilot inside tried to reverse, but the onslaught was relentless. The tank’s turret exploded in a fireball of greasy black smoke, and the whole machine ground to a halt, a burning wreckage in the rain. Tower is down

– Gunslugs (the first game) is available on GOG as a standalone purchase. The sequel Gunslugs 2 is not on GOG (only Steam / mobile). Gunslugs 3: Rogue Tactics is also not on GOG.
