Select your connected USB from the dropdown menu.

It’s no longer plug-and-play. Modern Windows (10/11) expects cumulative updates—one giant package replacing all prior patches. That’s good for simplicity, but bad for USB practicality: a single cumulative update can be 600 MB+ per month, and you still need to ensure the correct version (x64, ARM, LTSC, etc.). If automatic updates fail, you can force an update through Device Manager: Select your connected USB from the dropdown menu

This refreshes the entire operating system and repairs broken update components while leaving your data intact. The Clean Install That’s good for simplicity, but bad for USB

The device will now update using the files on the USB drive.

Choose your drive from the list. Note: This will erase all data currently on the USB.
