In many educational institutions, network firewalls block access to gaming websites to minimize distractions and preserve bandwidth. However, a parallel ecosystem of “unblocked games” has emerged—simple browser-based games hosted on proxy-friendly domains, Google Sites, or personal servers. These games are often Flash, HTML5, or JavaScript-based and are designed to evade detection. This paper investigates the phenomenon from technical, behavioral, and policy perspectives. unblokedgames
