Just as they are about to part ways, Viraj meets with a terrible accident on a film set. Rushed to the hospital again, he requires immediate surgery. Simrita is the only surgeon available. Despite their fallout, she performs the surgery to save his life. However, when he wakes up, he finds that Simrita has left his life entirely, leaving him heartbroken and realizing that he had actually fallen in love with her.

Simrita, realizing that her prejudice against men was blinding her to the one man who truly cared, drops her guard.
