If you’ve just pulled your (also known as the "One by Wacom") out of the box or reinstalled your operating system, you might notice that the pen doesn’t respond correctly, or pressure sensitivity isn’t working.
If you are using a newer Mac (M1/M2/M3 chips) with macOS Big Sur, Monterey, Ventura, or Sonoma, Wacom has moved many older tablets into a "Legacy" support category. If you don't see the CTL-671 in the main list, check the "Older Models" or "Legacy Drivers" section. The driver for the CTL-471/671 is often bundled under the same package.
There is a catch. The USB cable on the CTL-671 is micro-USB and the port is soldered directly to the PCB with no strain relief. If you move the tablet while it is plugged in, you will snap the port.
Wacom provides regularly updated drivers that support modern operating systems.
If you get this error, try a different USB port or restart the "Wacom Professional Service" in your computer's Services menu.
