For fans of the thriller genre, Por Thozhil is arguably one of the smartest whodunits to come out of Tamil cinema recently. Starring Ashok Selvan and the veteran Sarathkumar, the film is a cat-and-mouse chase between the police and a serial killer. It relies on taut writing and atmosphere rather than cheap thrills.
