eMule servers frequently go offline or become unreliable. A static server list becomes outdated quickly, leading to connection failures and poor network performance.

eMule servers act as indexes. They do not store files themselves, but they hold the information about which users (clients) have which files. Servers go offline frequently due to maintenance, legal pressures, or lack of funding. If your list is populated with "dead" servers, eMule will waste time trying to connect to them, slowing down your connection process and reducing your download speeds.
