Mouse Driver: Logitech M325

The Logitech M325 is a workhorse. It doesn't need constant driver updates like a gaming mouse does. Set it, forget it, and change the battery once a year.

When the Logitech Unifying Receiver is plugged into a USB port, the operating system (Windows, macOS, Chrome OS) automatically detects it as a generic mouse. It installs a generic HID-compliant driver. This allows the mouse to move the cursor and perform standard left, right, and scroll wheel inputs immediately without user intervention.

This is rarely a driver issue. It is almost always a power or dongle issue.
