Trunk. Twelve tergites are evident, each sub‑rectangular and overlapping the preceding one by ~ 30 %. Paired lateral spines (0.4–0.6 mm long) project dorsolaterally from each tergite, giving a “saw‑blade” silhouette (Fig. 2A).
