The cast is a major highlight of the film. Hyun Bin returns with his brooding charisma, delivering a performance that balances intensity with subtle comedic moments. Yoo Hae-jin provides the heart of the film, representing the "everyman" that audiences can root for. The addition of Daniel Henney as the suave FBI agent adds a layer of "cool" that elevates the international feel of the movie. Furthermore, Yoon-a provides a refreshing comedic performance as Jin-tae’s sister-in-law, who finds herself caught in a funny "love square" with the three lead men.
The chemistry between the lead actors is undeniable, and their performances elevate the film's entertainment value. Hyun Bin shines as the stoic yet humorous Kim Jong Tae, while Yoo Hae Jin brings his signature humor to the table as the slightly eccentric Park Ki Woong. Kang Han Na brings a fresh energy to the film as the young and ambitious Park Yoon Young.
However, this time, the operation isn't just a two-man show. The case attracts the attention of the FBI. Enter Jack (Daniel Henney), a charismatic and competent FBI agent who joins forces with Cheol-ryung and the goofball South Korean detective, Kang Jin-tae (Yoo Hae-jin). To complicate matters further, Jin-tae’s brother-in-law, Park Min-ho (Jin Seon-kyu), gets unintentionally wrapped up in the chaos.
