School starts in three days. I should be terrified. In movies, the new girl either gets adopted by the popular clique instantly or she gets shoved into a locker.

It was empty. Just a few dust bunnies and a stray coat hanger. But in the corner of the room, scratched into the wooden baseboard, were letters. School starts in three days

Tomorrow is the first day of school. I have my outfit picked out (jeans, a white tee, Converse—trying to channel 'effortlessly cool' but will likely achieve 'forgot to do laundry'). I swear I saw something there
