However, with great power comes great responsibility. The expand feature can be misused, leading to a "treasure hunt" experience. If an author hides critical information inside a collapsed section—such as a deadline, a primary action item, or a warning—they risk that information being missed entirely. A good rule of thumb is that the "default view" of a page (everything visible before clicking) should contain 80% of what a standard user needs to know. The collapsed sections should contain the remaining 20%—the niche, the technical, or the archival.
